Chantel & Gloria's Morph Animation Clip & My Claymation Animation Technique Evaluation

My Claymation Animation Technique Evaluation

For this piece of coursework, we had to create a morph character using plasticine.
Firstly, we rolled the plasticine into a ball shape, then we had to stretch it out to form a head shape. After that, we stretched out the arms, legs and formed the feet.
Once that was done, we then created a nose, eyes and a mouth for the morph character.
When creating a morph character, you have to make sure that all the parts don't fall apart and you need to make sure that it is stable to stand up. You also have to make sure that the morph character isn't in the light too much, or it could melt.

After that, we had to create a short animated story using our morph characters. Me and my friend came up with a story about two best friends. One of them is jealous that their best friend found a new friend to be close with. Therefore, the friend that is jealous, gets into arguments with both of them, but they eventually end up becoming friends.

Overall, I found it was quite hard to animate as you had to make very small movements.
We didn't have a lot of time to make our animated clip, but with the time that we had, we tried to edit our animated clip as quick as possible and tried to make sure that our animation didn't look too rushed.

I think that our animated clip looked good, as it was clear to see what was going on and I think that the music was suitable for our animated clip.
