The 5 Shot Rule

The 5 Shot Rule

The 5 shot rules includes:

- Close-Up on the hands
- Extreme Close-Up on the face
- Wide Shot
- Over The Shoulder
- Creative Shot

Close-Up and Extreme Close-Up Shots are used so that you could see the person's face in detail and possibly their emotions.

A Wide Shot is used so that you see where the person was standing and the person's surroundings.

An Over The Shoulder Shot is to show what the person was doing from a different angle.

Creative Shots such as; Long Shots, Birds Eye View and many more, are used so that your video can look more creative.
