Script For My Video Profile

What I'm Going To Say (Audio)

-        My Video Profile

-        Hi, my name’s Chantel.
I’m 18 years old and my birthday is on St. Patrick’s Day.
I’m from Jamaica and I currently attend City Of Westminster College doing a
BTEC Level 3 Creative Media course.

-        This is part of my college where most of my lessons take place.
I chose media because I like the creative side to it and I like to use
the camera to show my creativity.

-        This is the library are where I come sometimes with my friends, to study.

-        In my spare time, I like writing lyrics and producing my own music.
As you can see, I'm using Garage Band to do music and I find it really fun
and interesting to do.

-        The reason why I starting rapping is because I find it easier to express
myself to other people. The lyrics I write about often come across as very
personal and sad because of my experiences.

-        Alongside rapping, I also sing.

-        OnceI have completed my song/s, I then get invited to perform them at my Church and different Church’s so that other people can hear what I have done so far.

-        My inspirations are Gospel Artist such as; Mahogany Jones,
Guvna B and Dwayne Tryumph. They inspire me because they are Gospel Artists, I like their style of music and the way they get their message out to young people.

-        Even though I chose to do a Media Course, after College, I would like to go to University to do a Teaching course to then become a Primary School Teacher. I would like to be a primary school teacher because I like working with young children and I have the patience to work with them.

-        Thank You For Watching!

Viral Marketing Video Analysis 2

Cadbury Gorilla Advert - In The Air Tonight

I analysed another viral marketing video from YouTube.

The URL of where the video can be found is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dhg_rjpvtME&feature=related

In this video a guy in a Gorilla suit waits for the drum part in the song to come and then plays the drums with passion.

The target audience is for children, men and women who love eating chocolate. The target audience could also be for people who like playing the drums and for people who are fans of  Phil Collins' music.

The digital platform that this video appears on is The Internet (YouTube). This video was also shown as an advert on the T.V.

The purpose of this video is to advertise Cadbury's chocolate. It is also to entertain people.

By making a video like this which is funny, people will watch the video and pass it on to others, and then people will buy the chocolate.

The image quality of this video wasn't very sharp at the beginning of the video, but it gradually got better. The sound quality is clear as you can hear everything nice and clearly. The music was added in the background of this video.
This video has been edited quite well and you see a variety of camera shots such as; An Extreme Close-Up, Close-Up, Medium Close-Up and a Wide Shot.

Viral Marketing Video Analysis 1

Official iPhone 5 Trailer

The URL of where this video can be found is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5X5cV-4LRo

I had to analyse a viral marketing video from YouTube.

This video is about advertising the new iPhone 5. In this video a few people from the Apple iPhone company show how the new iPhone looks.
They talk about the all the advantages of having this phone. This includes; the size of the phone, the speed when you want to download something on the phone, the chip which is stored inside this new phone, the new part they made which allows you to use the lead connector both ways and the quality of the camera.
They also compare the iPhone 5 to the iPhone 4 and they explain why this phone is different and better than the iPhone 4.
This video also shows some other people using the phone.

The target audience for this video could be for males and females who would want to use the phone for their work business. The target audience could also be for people ages 18 to 45. This is because at these ages, people are more likely to use their phones to communicate with others and because the phone looks advanced, people would be more likely to understand how to use this phone at these ages.

The digital platform that the video appears on is the YouTube, on The Internet. YouTube is a good place to put this type of video on, because many people use the internet as it is quick and easy to use. Also, the internet is the best and fastest way to pass the video to others.

The purpose of this video is to inform people about this new phone, so that they can go and buy it and so that they can tell others about how good this new phone is.

This is an image of the iPhone logo. This logo is used to make people remember where this image is used. Once people see this logo, they will know what the company is.

The quality of this video is quite clear but it could be sharper. In this video, you're not able to see any small pixels or bad filming. The sound in this video is clear. You’re able to hear everything that they say.
It has quite a few transitions which show the next part of the video. Having transitions in videos makes it look more interesting to watch, it also splits the video into a few parts, which makes it easier for the person watching it to not lose focus on what is happening next in the video. The video has been edited so that you don't have to see every single part of the video. It allows you to see certain parts which are most important.

Video Analysis Of A User Generated Video 2

Chilli Challenge - @AyyOnline

The URL of where this video can be found is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1KvLOZuvxc

I analyzed another video made by someone on YouTube.

This guy takes on a challenge to eat the hottest chilli around. He knows how hot the chilli is, but he didn't know how hot it really was until he tried it. When he eats it, the chilli is so hot that he shouts for his brother to come and bring him so water to drink. He also eats yogurt and ice. After that, his body starts to shake, and then he feels sick all over the place.

The target audience is for male or female teenagers aged 13 to 25 years old.

The digital platform that this video appears on is YouTube on The Internet. YouTube is an easy platform where everyone is able to view the video and share it to others quickly.

The purpose of this video is to entertain people so that they are able to have a laugh. It could also be to show people that you shouldn't try this chilli because its too hot and it makes you sick.

The image quality of this video is very clear. It looks like it was well made. When watching this video you can't see the little pixel parts.
The editing in this video has a few quick transitions which shows the next part of what he's doing. in the editing of this video, this guy uses an image to cover his brother's face because he didn't want him to be seen. The video also has a few captions to show how many minutes its taking him to recover.
