We then started doing a script list on what was going to be said throughout the advert and what camera shots we were going to use. After that, I created a presentation on Prezi, talking about the history of the product, an overview of the product, the target audience for the product, our idea for the product and the product's main competitors.
We were faithful to our original idea because everything that we wanted to do was done how we planned it to be.
I think that our advert was quite effective because our target audience was for 16-25+ and the advert had 2 people who were in between that age group. It was also effective because the product we used was good and the product was for anyone that liked this phone.
Our slogan was 'Simple. Smart. Sophisticated.' I think this was effective because we used alliteration to make it sound catchy and it showed that the phone was simple to use, it looked liked a smart phone and it was sophisticated.
The technical and aesthetic qualities that I was proud of were the use of different camera angles and shots that were used during the advert. Using different angles made the advert seem less boring and looked good.
I also liked the black and white scenes and the transitions, which showed the girl going into a daydream. I liked that part because it helped the audience to see that she was going in to a daydream and it made the advert have a slight bit of humour to it.
In comparison to a professional TV advertisement, I think that the downfall of our advert was the boarder line used in the advert. I say this because in some scenes our faces were cut off a bit, so you wasn't able to see the full picture of what was going on. Some of the words could of been done using different fonts from online sites to make it look more different and creative, instead of using the same fonts such as 'Arial and Comic Sans'. I also think that the quality of the video wasn't clear enough so that made the advert seem less professional to other TV adverts.
