My Zoetrope

A Zoetrope is a device where we can create an animation using images on paper. It gives off an illusion making it look like the images are moving together.
The first modern zoetrope was created in 1833. The zoetrope consists of a cylinder with slits cut vertically in the sides. There is a band on the inner surface of the cylinder. This is where you put the images that you made. When the cylinder spins, you look through the slits and you can see the pictures moving.

We had to make our own Zoetrope. So I drew a ball which created an illusion of it bouncing.

Animated Gif

Moving Images

To do this, I went to Google and typed in Contact Sheet. Then I saved the images to the desktop and put them all into a new folder. After that, I went to Google and typed in Gif ninga, then I went onto the site. Once that was done, I uploaded the images on the site and then I embedded it onto my blog.
